WWF

At WWF, the focus is on quality and meticulousness, where solutions must not only meet current needs but also be future-proof. PossibilIT assists WWF in optimizing their Salesforce environment and supports process automation to work more efficiently and transparently.

About WWF

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is an international organization committed to conservation and sustainable living. Unlike many commercial organizations, WWF places even greater emphasis on the quality of solutions and processes. They aim to best configure their digital environment, including Salesforce, to maintain sustainable relationships with donors and stakeholders.

Project background

WWF approached PossibilIT through a staffing arrangement to provide support in developing their Salesforce environment. The goal was to expedite the optimization of the environment and automate certain processes. The experts from PossibilIT supported WWF's project team and handled various assignments. We have now been collaborating with WWF for over three years and have executed numerous projects, ranging from minor improvements to significant optimizations.

"Thanks to more efficient process configuration, WWF can build even better relationships with their donors and stakeholders."

Our work

One of the key projects that PossibilIT carried out for WWF was setting up a notification process for relationship managers. This process ensures that account managers are automatically notified when a donation is made or when there is an update on the desired method of donating. This allows account managers to act more swiftly without having to manually search for this information.

Merging duplicate Profiles

Additionally, our specialists worked on optimizing the Salesforce environment by supporting the deduplication of contacts. When someone fills out a contact form, a new profile is automatically created. The system then identifies potential duplicate profiles and merges them into one. This helps WWF maintain a complete and accurate overview of their contacts.

Sprint teams

Finally, we advised WWF to work according to the sprint principle to work more efficiently and keep the focus on the most important tasks. This provided more transparency and structure in the operations.

Results

The collaboration between PossibilIT and WWF has led to a better-functioning Salesforce environment where processes are automated and account managers can work more effectively. The implementation of the notification process has made account managers better informed and able to respond more quickly to donations and payments. The deduplication of contacts ensures a more streamlined and accurate administration of contacts within WWF.

Additionally, we have set up Salesforce as an Identity Provider for donors, allowing them to easily register via WWF's website. For example, they can create a donation box. For this, we built a portal within Salesforce, which includes multiple screens for a user-friendly experience. In the background, an automated Flow ensures validation, creation, and activation of new users. This process runs seamlessly and without manual intervention, ensuring efficient and reliable onboarding of new donors.
